What's Included In The Program...

MODULE 1

Coaching Resources

The key to a successful team or program is to have organized practices. Being able to map out what you need to cover ahead of time will ensure you touch on all the age appropriate skills your players need to learn. This section includes:

  • Full season worth of practices based on age group
  • Off season practices and hitting circuits
  • Parent and player contracts for communicating team expectations

These plans are ready to go as is or you can modify them to fit your team's needs.

MODULE 2

Hitting

All teams need to be able to make solid contact to be able to score. Focusing on really developing the fundamentals of your player's swings will help them be more successful as they continue to grow and learn. In this section, you’ll learn:

  • How to develop the hitting portion of your practice for the most developmental growth
  • Major ways to improve your player's swings
  • How to break down each hitting drill so they are done correctly

These are the same drills and circuits we use with our teams and have troubleshooted the best approach to achieve success over the years.

MODULE 3

Fielding

Multiple fundamental drills to break down fielding and throwing. Having these skills built will help them translate easier when you get to full infield practices and games. In this section, you’ll learn:

  • How to break down the fundamentals of throwing
  • How to break down the fundamentals of fielding
  • Progressively working up to situational team practices so players are able to be successful

Develop fielders that are confident to go get the ball and make good, hard throws.

MODULE 4

Base Running

Being confident on the bases will help your players be more aggressive in the right situations so your team can capitalize to put yourself in the best position to score runs during the game. In this section, you’ll learn:

  • How to teach base running 101 (running through 1st, rounding the base, etc.)
  • How to teach lead offs, slides, diving back to the base
  • How to teach your players to pay attention to the base coach for more directions

Practicing these skills will help your players be game ready.

MODULE 5

Pitching

Pitching is a huge factor in the sport of baseball and softball. While we do not teach advanced pitching in this course, having the skills to help players starting out to pitch correctly and be more accurate is huge. In this section, you'll learn:

Catching

Having a solid player behind the plate that can catch and block the ball is another very important aspect of the game. In this section, you'll learn:

  • Drills to break down blocking, stance, framing the ball, etc.
  • Throwing runners out when stealing/pick offs

Taking time to invest in your catchers will help minimize runners getting on from dropped third strikes or stealing extra bases on pass balls.

MODULE 7

Other Exercises

We love incorporating other exercises. Sometimes it keeps things fresh and fun. Sometimes it adds a nice break in between drills while still working the body in a productive way. In this section, you'll learn:

  • The mobility, agility and body weight exercises we like to incorporate
  • Instructions on how to do each of these moves correctly

Help keep your players busy while in between drills so they do not get distracted doing unproductive things.

Kait and Nevada

Both of us have multiple years of playing and coaching various sports as different levels. The last 3-4 years we have combined our efforts in the world of baseball/softball to create a team atmosphere of fun, hard work, not being afraid to try new things and fail, and continually working to grow and improve. Over that time we have created a practice set up that has really elevated our players game and we want to share that with others.

We both know that the world of beginner and intermediate Baseball/Softball can be underserved in resources to help coaches get started. We have done numerous coaching clinics and have taken what we see as a need to be able to offer it to others getting start.

"The KNeticx team has helped Haysville Recreation put on our coaching and player clinics for the last two years. The clinics have been organized and well-formatted for players and coaches of all experience levels. If you are looking for a helpful resource for your playe(s) or as a coach, I would highly recommend them to anyone!"

"KNeticx put on a youth baseball/softball skills clinic and passed on some great information to our rec league coaches and players. They were great to work with and look forward to having them host other sports clinics in the future."
